;D This message board is set up for comments regarding the Bid-A-Wee subdivision in Panama City Beach, Florida.
There have been 'comments' posted to the News Herald and TV station reports, this board gives readers the ability to post their comments without waiting for the media to report on BAW then comment on those reports.
So put down your opinions and comments and be ready for replies, some unfavorable. For the moment there are no banned words, depending on how this works out I may change this.
You can post links to sites or articles but if you spam or put up advertisements they will be taken down. So use the board to debate the issues but try to be somewhat civil to those who disagree with you.
For a run down of what has been going on here about the 'Gates' you will find all the news reports, some letters and emails at: bidaweeeasement.blogspot.com/ and the BAW Corporation site is at: bawbp.com/

Posts to message boards do not require an actual name, you can register for using a screen name or just appear as a 'guest'. You should be aware that anytime you are on this, or any other board, you are leaving behind your IP address on the boards 'security log'.
This isn't like you see on the various TV shows, the exact address of the poster is not available to the board administrator, but by way of example we have posters here from PCB as well as cities named in both Ga and Va. There are commercial sites that will give this info when the IP is put in.
IF posts here are ever referred to either law enforcement or are the subject of a civil suit, these IP addresses can be traced to an individuals address. It just requires a subpeona be served on the site 'proboards' and the IP will be turned over and traced.
So don't go overboard and make threats or put up information that might cause someone to sue you. Of course you can always go to an internet cafe or the local library and use those computers, but if you post from home or your work, those IP addresses might trip you up.
And of course if you get to out of control I can and will delete the post myself, that would only be for something serious, not just calling someone a knucklehead. So enjoy the board and just remember that for board purposes you are annonymous but you can be found if necessary.
Misc Update: You might have noticed that some posts have 'disappeared', that was NOT my banning them, it was because the Original Poster asked that they be deleted. I was somewhat pleased to do this as they were long and all run together and hard to read. Please break up your posts into reasonably sized paragraphs, that way they might get read by those of us with short attention spans. [/size]

does anyone know who cares to share it, what the latest surveying at BAW beach is about? I hope it is not to erect brick walls!

The only time I ever spoke to Jimmy Smith, 7/15/11, he told me that the chain link fencing was set back to far into the BAW property and would be moved up to the edge of the property, right where BAW stopped and the state right of way was.
I suspect that in order to make a firm determination of where the fence would go he would need some surveying done. Of course it could be something else entirely. You could just give him a call and ask, then post it here on the board so we all know.
